I am the Creative Director of a small design agency in London and we have recently started to compile and publish our own MadeInEarnest CityGuides.
The first one was on Helsinki:

The guides are all downloadable from our site and we are viewing them as invaluable companions to travel books and the trips themselves.
Our next planned guide is for Tallinn, but we need to find an ‘Insider’ for the city as we hope to have ‘Insider’s Tips’ in each of the guides we do.
These are a few tips from someone who lives and works in the city that the average tourist might not know or might not visit. We do not want the tips to be too obvious. What I am thinking about is the best independent restaurant or design bar or jazz night or gallery or artist or hidden architectural gem or bookshop. That sort of thing.
As you will see, the guides themselves are quite art and design based as we are graphic designers.
I should mention that there is no money in these guides as we offer them as a free-to-download service.
So, as I can offer no money to any Insider, I totally understand if you haven’t got the time, or the inclination to help, but I saw this blog and thought you might have some interesting tips. Obviously we will mention you and the blog and give links where possible and we could – if you wanted – print extra calendar for you.
I hope you can help as the guides are certainly better with an authentic ‘Insider’ involved.
