BUS :
When you arrive at autobussijaam, you’re 2 km away from the center. Take a tram (nr 2 or 4) it is the 4 th stop where you need to get of.
Local busses to the center are 17A , 23 and 23 A, you can take them at platform 1 in the busstation. Also the 4th stop is where you get of it’s called Vabaduse Väljak(freedom square) . Taxi from the busstation to freedom square should never be more then 90 eek .
CAR :
Coming in trough the other Baltic states, there should be no troubles since it’s all E.U. now .
AIRPLANE :
taxi costs about 100-125 EEK ; cheapest ones are : Eurotaxo and Amigo ! ask them to take you to Vabaduse Väljak(freedom square) , if you want to ask the price in Estonian ask ” Kui palju ?” 100= sada in estonian 25= kakskummendviis .
bus : cheapest way to get to the center is by bus, nr 2 comes regularly to the airport every half an hour. Get of at Tallink Hotel or Kaubamaja. It takes 10 minutes to get to the center and it costs only 20 eek.
SHIP :
To the old town it’s easy, just head for the spires and churches it takes about 20 minutes walking maximum.
TRAIN:
From Balti Jaam head for the underpass and you’re at the foot of the old town. Take tram 1 or 2 to get to the new town .
