Museums
Tallinn has an almost uncountable amount of different museums. Here are Tallinnblogger’s personal favourites:
Museum Design and applied Arts
Looks quite plain from outside. But interior and exhibition made me wish to become enourmous rich one day… . Really recommended for people with appreciation for beautiful things.
Museum for Modern Arts.
Is there any more to say?
I love this museum.
I love the exhibition.
I love the architecture.

“Kiek in de Kök” is a impressive part of Tallinn’s ancient fortification. Inside the tower is displayed an overview of Tallinn’s military history from 12th to 18th century.
A lot of old guns, canons and armours and a view over Old Town and harbour.
Special: You can book guided tours through the secret passages under Tallinn there (everyday except monday).
This part of the History Museum (Eesti Ajaloomuseum) is situated in Pikk Street 17 (next to the Russian Embassy) in the Old Guild Hall. It shows Estonian history from the Vikings to the end of the Middle Ages. The exibition is small, but very nicely done. (My personal favourite: you can dig out a sceleton.) The Guild Hall alone would be already worth visiting and entrance fee is quite low (25 eek/ 15 eek).
